The main structures of two projects that are being built in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort were completed recently.

One of the projects is built by Panasonic Factory Solutions Suzhou Co Ltd (PFSS), a branch of Japanese electronics conglomerate Panasonic in SIP, to expand its SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machine factory.

The project covers about 3.54 hectares. The total floor area of the new buildings will reach 290,000 square meters, and the plot ratio will be 1.38. The construction will adhere to the design philosophy of energy-saving, eco-friendly and sustainable development.

The other project, with a total investment of RMB47 million, is being pushed forward by Suzhou Rainbow Plastic Profiles Co Ltd. Under the project, an old plant was dismantled and a multi-storey building is being built for manufacturing of precision instruments, medical devices and similar products. The new building will consist of eight floors aboveground and one underground with a total floor area of 27,537.58 square meters. The plot ratio will be increased from 0.47 to 2.74.
