The two-day InnovFest Suzhou 2024 kicked off at NUS (Suzhou) Research Institute (NUSRI), SIP on Nov 18. The event was aimed at providing a platform for top-tier technology and business exchange between China and Singapore.
InnovFest Suzhou, initiated in 2015 by NUSRI, a research arm of the National University of Singapore (NUS), is designed to facilitate partnering among research institutions and enterprises in groundbreaking innovation and cutting-edge technology development. It has put over 430 scientific and technological innovation projects under the spotlight, and helped introduce 120-plus projects to SIP.
Focusing on AI and digitalization as well as sustainable development, the 2024 edition brought together a host of experts and professionals from research institutes, high-tech enterprises and investment organizations to explore possibilities for sci-tech innovation in various fields and brainstorm strategies for sustainable development of businesses.
At the opening ceremony, the plaque of the National University of Singapore Suzhou Advanced Research Institute was unveiled.
About 40 cutting-edge technologies and products from the sectors of AI application, medical devices and food technology and other emerging industries were shown.
The event also included keynote speeches, a roundtable, a forum and a project roadshow.
