TROX GmbH, a global leader in the development, production and marketing of components, appliances and systems for indoor air conditioning and ventilation, launched construction on its Asia-Pacific R&D and manufacturing headquarters in SIP on Nov 11.

With a total investment of about US$70 million, the company’s largest single-project investment overseas, the project is scheduled to come into operation in 2026. Its annual operating income is expected to be RMB1 billion after it reaches the designed capacity, which will enhance TROX’s competitiveness in the global market.

It is notable that the new facility will be equipped with advanced IT systems and eco-friendly production equipment and techniques to create a good example for intelligent, low-carbon factories.
